Job summary

Huntsman is seeking a Regional Supply Chain Manager for the Americas to lead end-to-end supply chain activities across multiple manufacturing sites. You will coordinate S&OP, oversee production planning, and align inventory with customer demand while delivering actionable insights to regional leadership.

The role requires 7+ years in supply chain, strong S&OP knowledge, and ERP proficiency (SAP). Collaboration with cross-functional teams and a focus on safety and compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in supply chain roles with responsibility across planning, inventory management, and logistics.
• Strong knowledge of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).
• Experience in manufacturing or chemical industries is a plus.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably SAP, and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

Job Scope

The Supply Chain Manager - Americas is responsible for leading and coordinating all end-to-end supply chain activities across several manufacturing sites in the region. This includes demand & supply balancing, production planning, procurement coordination, warehousing & distribution, and ensuring execution of the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.

In summary, as the Regional Supply Chain Manager, you will:

• Drive and coordinate S&OP activities across assigned sites.
• Collect, analyze, anticipate, and resolve issues impacting service, cost, production, or purchasing.
• Serve as the primary interface between central demand planning and site operations.
• Provide structured, actionable data and insights to sites and regional leadership.
• Oversee production planning across multiple sites to ensure efficient asset utilization.
• Align plans with inventory targets and customer demand.
• Ensure visibility of constraints and necessary trade-offs.
• Own inventory performance for the multi-site scope.
• Ensure warehousing and distribution activities are optimized.
• Lead cost-to-serve and distribution optimization initiatives.
• Support site procurement teams with visibility and escalation.
• Align with regional Purchasing to ensure continuity.
• Interface with Manufacturing, Commercial, Customer Service, Quality, R&D and HSE.
• Ensure consistent communication of priorities and constraints.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure supply chain processes adhere to safety, quality, and compliance.
• Promote harmonization and standardization across sites.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in Supply Chain roles, with demonstrated responsibility across planning, inventory management, and logistics. Global or multiregional Supply Chain experience is a strong advantage.
• Proven, indepth knowledge of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), demand and supply planning, inventory optimization, and endtoend logistics processes.
• Experience operating within a manufacturing and/or chemical industry environment preferred, with exposure to complex production, capacity, and inventory constraints.
• Strong proficiency in ERP systems, preferably SAP, with the ability to leverage system data for planning, execution, and performance management.
• Demonstrated leadership and influence in matrixed organizations, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions, regions, and senior stakeholder groups.
