Job summary

National Heritage Academies is seeking dedicated Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join our team in a dynamic traveling role across various school locations in Michigan. This position involves providing speech and language services tailored to students’ needs, supporting collaboration with special education teachers, and participating in IEP meetings. The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and a CCC from ASHA, preferring experience with at-risk students.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology, SLP license issued by the LARA.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
• Preferred experience working with at-risk students.

Summary

We are currently seeking dedicated Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join our team in a traveling role. This position offers a dynamic work environment and requires a flexible, adaptable approach to meet the evolving needs of students and schools. As a traveling SLP, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while helping students reach their full potential. You will provide services at the following school locations: Warrendale Charter Academy – Warrendale, Michigan; Hamtramck Academy – Hamtramck, Michigan.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language services to students in our charter school network.
• Collaborate with special education teachers to coordinate daily schedules, assessments, and annual IEP meetings.
• Participate in IEP meetings and deliver services aligned with each student's IEP.
• Support students through specially designed instruction tailored to their unique needs, including resource room, inclusion and/or pullout services.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology, SLP license issued by the LARA.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech‑Language‑Hearing Association (ASHA).
• Experience working with at‑risk students is preferred, where applicable.
