Regional Service Associates are skilled in the duties of both a Customer Service Representative (sales on the platform), and Teller (transactions at the teller line). This role supports the particular Region by floating to various branches within a designated geographic area where operating needs dictate the additional staff in a branch for a period of time.
Simultaneously performs the duties of a traditional branch customer service representative and teller. This position requires travel to various branch locations within the designated Region, with an emphasis on placing employees within a specific geography where they live.
Individuals in this position will spend a mixture of time between account representative duties and teller duties, with the balance varying by situation.
Incumbent has the authority to use discretion in some circumstances, but if written policy is unclear or there is any uncertainty, the account representative should seek guidance from the immediate branch supervisor.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time and frequently operate a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a calculator, copy machine, and printer. The employee occasionally moves around the office to access file cabinets and office equipment, and may travel to other company locations for meetings, training, events, and other business activities. The employee must sometimes lift or move boxes or equipment up to 20 pounds. The employee needs near‑visual acuity for working on a computer, far‑visual acuity, and peripheral vision required for driving a motor vehicle. The employee must observe details at close range (within a few feet) and work in an open floor‑plan office environment with moderate lighting, temperature, and noise levels that are occasionally loud.
