Overview

This is a remote role that may only be hired in the following location(s): North Carolina

Please note the preferred location is in Eastern North Carolina

This position is in our Enterprise Security Operations group within the Corporate Real Estate group. It manages and administers all aspects of physical security for small to medium-sized company facilities.

Responsible for technical security operations and threat management to protect bank associates, clients, and assets. Identifies emerging threats through analysis and recommends countermeasures. Develops innovative solutions considering long-term impact, system integration, maintenance, and cost-effectiveness. Participates in investigations of physical security incidents and provides testimony. Acts as a technical security consultant to stakeholders, leveraging knowledge of banking and security regulations, criminal codes, and industry trends.

Responsibilities
  1. Security Assessment - Assess risks or threats via analysis of facilities. Ensure risks are mitigated within the bank's tolerance levels and security technology is in place. Evaluate risks related to vendor relationships, services, and products. Report findings to management.
  2. Incident Resolution - Manage incidents impacting bank premises or operations. Collaborate with law enforcement, maintain incident records, collect evidence, and facilitate security restoration.
  3. Business Support - Serve as a technical security consultant for executive management and stakeholders. Develop and implement protective measures, manage security systems, and provide ongoing support.
  4. Security Expertise - Stay informed on security regulations, criminal codes, and industry changes. Build relationships with partners, officials, and industry peers to share information and solutions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree with 4 years of experience in Industrial Security or Law Enforcement
  • Or High School Diploma/GED with 8 years of experience in the same fields
Preferred Skills and Certifications
  • Experience with Milestone, Verint, RS2 Access Control, ServiceNow, among others
  • Certifications like APP, CPP, PSP, PCI from ASIS
  • De-escalation and conflict resolution training
  • Membership in the Threat Assessment Professionals
  • Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design certification
Skills

Knowledge of physical and electronic security technologies, crime prevention concepts, security lighting regulations, legal implications, premises liability, and negligence.
