Job summary

Kaplan in the Greater Los Angeles area is seeking part-time SAT/ACT instructors to teach in-person sessions across regional locations. You will follow Kaplan's curriculum and participate in ongoing professional development while working with a remote manager.

This role is ideal for current college students, gap-year graduates, or Master’s students who want flexible hours, travel to different campuses, and opportunities to support students' college admissions journeys.

Qualifications

• SAT/ACT percentile requirement (90th percentile)
• Ability to work independently with remote manager
• Willingness to travel to regional locations across Greater Los Angeles area
• Comfort with teaching from a curriculum and multiple locations

Responsibilities

• Teach in-person SAT and ACT sessions at regional locations
• Collaborate with stakeholders to tailor content to student needs
• Prepare students using curated curriculum and teaching methods
• Support students inside and outside of class and foster critical thinking
• Participate in training and professional development for teaching delivery
