Job summary

Amazon in Nashville, TN is seeking a Regional Operations Planner to translate demand signals into executable regional plans and optimize site capacity across the network. You will collaborate with demand planning, site operations, and procurement to address gaps and maintain 95% On-Time Ship performance.

• Support network-level level-loading by identifying capacity constraints and volume distribution opportunities within regional sites.
• Drive structured resolution of unfulfillable orders by partnering with site operations, Supply Chain Planning, and Procurement to clear blockers and convert to fulfillable demand.
• Monitor and maintain regional capacity buffers, tracking current utilization against available capacity and escalating constraint signals.
• Contribute to regional capacity outlook analysis across multiple horizons (0-90 days, 30-180 days) and provide data-driven input for investment recommendations.
• Track and report regional performance metrics including forecast-to-plan accuracy, unfulfillable conversion rates, and capacity buffer maintenance.
• Partner with the S&OE Manager and other regional planners to ensure consistent planning cadence, methodology, and output quality across all regions.

The Rapid Asset Deployment (RAD) organization within Tech – Supply Chain is growing globally to improve our responsiveness to our customers.

Tech – Supply Chain manages all IT infrastructure and end‑user equipment deployed across Amazon's network globally. The team is responsible for providing end‑to‑end solutions that power the physical fulfillment of our customers' orders, including management of new site launches across the globe that directly support shipping packages to millions of Amazon.com customers. RAD is the physical warehouse network that fulfills these orders, handling the hands‑on preparation, deployment, and recovery of IT equipment at scale.

The Regional Planner executes the S&OE function for their assigned region, serving as the critical link between demand planning and site‑level execution. This role translates the consolidated demand plan into WHERE to fulfill, HOW to staff, and WHEN to execute within their regional network. The Regional Operations Planner operates within the three‑pillar S&OE model: weekly operational planning cycles, execution support for order resolution, and capacity program analysis to ensure sites can absorb demand proactively rather than reactively.

Basic Qualifications

• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including: pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.
• Background in capacity planning, labor modeling, or fulfillment operations

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
