Job summary

Lakeshore Learning Materials in Cincinnati, OH, seeks a Regional Sales Manager to expand our presence in the K–12 educational space. You will cultivate relationships with school districts and educational programs and partner with internal teams to maximize sales across multiple states.

You’ll travel up to ~30% of the time, maintain a strong pipeline, and earn an uncapped commission in addition to a solid base salary. Lakeshore offers comprehensive benefits and a supportive sales environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of successful sales experience in K-12 or education market.
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• Solid presentation skills; ability to address customer needs at all levels.
• Strong work ethic and team-oriented mindset; comfortable working from home.
• Willingness to travel within territory, including overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Secure new and repeat business by building relationships with school districts and educational programs.
• Partner with internal sales resources to support needs and grow revenue.
• Regularly call on and maintain relationships with customers in the assigned territory.
• Collaborate with RVP/RD to build and drive sales strategies.
• Target key customers and identify their needs and opportunities.
• Communicate clearly with HQ and sales channels to streamline collaboration.
• Represent Lakeshore at local, state, and national conferences.

We’re looking for an energetic and talented Regional Sales Manager to join us—as we continue to extend our reach in the K–12 educational space. In this role,you’llcultivate new and existing relationships with school districts and educational programs—serving our devoted customer base in the early childhood and educational markets, while also exploring new market segments like middle schools and high schools. • Securing new and repeat business by building strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders, responsible for a designated geographical area (in some cases, multiple states)
• Partneringwith internal sales resources to support needs and increase business
• Consistently callingon, building, andmaintainingrelationships with customers within assigned territory
• Collaborating with your RVP/RD to build, adjust, and drive sales strategies
• Targetingkey customers and begin to assess and uncover customer needs
• Communicatingrespectfully, effectively, concisely, and with clarity to all inside partnersin regular meetings with a variety of internal HQ departments and sales channels to streamline communication, build relationships, and increase sales.
• Participating in local,stateand national conferences to promote the Lakeshore brand

• Candidates should ideally reside in the Dayton, Cincinnati, or Columbus areas and have the ability to travel within the territory as needed, including approximately 30% overnight stays
