Job summary

MAPEI is seeking a dynamic Sales Representative to drive regional sales, build strong client relationships, and deliver tailored product demonstrations in the New York area. You will manage distribution channels, train reps, and develop market strategies to achieve quotas.

You will present products to contractors and key clients, analyze market needs, and participate in trade shows. A valid driver’s license and ability to travel are required, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

  • External sales experience with a proven track record in relevant industry/products.
  • Strong knowledge of the assigned market/industry.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the territory.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work independently.
  • Proficient in Windows-based PC use, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Internet navigation.

  • Prepare sales reports and track performance metrics.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Represent MAPEI at trade shows and industry meetings.
  • Monitor regional expenditures and ensure alignment with budget.
  • Maintain a safe workspace, adhering to all safety and quality standards.
  • Perform other duties as required.

  • In this role, you will earn a competitive salary ranging from $155,000 to $200,000 per year, depending on your experience and qualifications.
  • This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is a variable percentage of your base salary, based on individual performance and company results.
