Job summary

Dräger is seeking a Regional Sales Manager - GDS to grow the Fire and Gas Detection Systems business across the specified territory. The role emphasizes new business development with target customers and expanding the installed base, including service contracts.

The position requires 3–5 years in process control or instrumentation sales, and a Bachelor’s in engineering or science. Residency in NM or Western TX is preferred, with a strong emphasis on English communication and CRM proficiency.

Qualifications

  • Fixed Gas Detection Systems or Process Controls and Instrumentation experience is required.
  • 3-5 years’ experience selling process control solutions/ analyzers or instrumentation.

Responsibilities

  • Identify target end-users within the target segments and prioritize accounts to maximize sales and profitability.
  • Focus on oil, gas and petrochemical segments and manage manufacturer representative activity.
  • Monitor fire and gas market trends and competitor actions and share insights with stakeholders.
  • Develop an annual sales plan and coordinate territory management and sales activities 30-60-90 days in advance.
