Job summary

Atlas Copco Tools & Assembly Systems LLC in the United States seeks a Regional Sales Director in the Motor Vehicle Industry to lead sales strategy and programs across a multi-state region. You will coach and develop the sales team, evaluate channel performance, and drive sustainable, profitable growth while improving customer satisfaction.

Travel up to 50% within the region and international trips may be required to support meetings and forecasts.

You will create new ideas in efforts to improve the Region and Business Line. Build sales strategies and programs in efforts to increase customer satisfaction and sustainable, profitable growth. Providing clear expectations to the sales team. You will coach and encourage the development of your sales team. You will valuate sales channel performance, offering honest and constructive feedback, and execution of course correction. You will shape our customer satisfaction, produce sustainable and profitable growth.

To succeed, you will need

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, IT/Computer Science, Communications, or related field.
• Sales Experience: Relevant sales experience (e.g. territory growth, account management or business development) with consistent KPI's preferred.
• People Management: Direct experience managing teams consisting of 6-8 members in a multi-state territory.
• Technical Aptitude: Strong mechanical and technical understanding required to engage with customers effectively.
• Travel-Ready: Willingness to travel up to 50% within the assigned region, including both domestic and international trips to support sales meetings, client engagement, and business forecasting activities; overnight travel may also be required based on business needs.
• Presentation Skills: Strong communication skills with experience in product demonstrations a plus.
