Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC seeks a Regional Automation Engineer to manage high-level control-system support across a regional set of sites. You will lead commissioning, on-call support, change management, training, and performance monitoring to ensure reliability of MHE and robotics.

You will travel extensively to optimize downtime and implement best practices. Responsibilities include troubleshooting PLC/PC controllers, industrial networks, and motor drives; providing SME guidance; and

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of PLC/automation experience.
  • 4+ years of PLC-controlled automation and issue diagnosis.
  • 4+ years of robotics work cells and control systems experience.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot material handling control systems including PLCs and networks.
  • Provide SME guidance and support to regional onsite automation engineers.
  • Lead escalation and coordinate corrective actions with multiple teams.
  • Support after-hours troubleshooting and remote access for repairs.
  • Travel up to 80% to sites within the region.
