Job summary

Premium Retail Services, a part of Acosta Group, is seeking a Retail District Manager to lead and develop a team of Retail Coverage Merchandisers and Lead Merchandisers in the Minneapolis area. In this role you will supervise field teams, hire and train new associates, manage performance, and ensure in-store results meet client expectations across assigned territories.

Expect hands-on leadership with in-store presence, project management, and collaboration with store personnel to deliver

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Associate degree preferred and/or equivalent management experience.
• Some college with prior management/supervisory experience with a minimum of 2+ years industry experience.
• Prior sales agent, retail, customer service or reset responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective leadership and management to the Retail Coverage Merchandiser/Lead Merchandiser team in your assigned geographic area.
• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the company’s business model, client and customer details and expectations, and the work processes.
• Spend a minimum of 10% of your time working in-store to ensure a thorough understanding of business and project requirements.
• Manage assigned work to completion, on time, and with high-quality results.
• Assign work to the team and ensure that all jobs have the appropriate level of support.
• Understand and optimize selling effectiveness in assigned territories.
• Partner with store personnel and your team to achieve and maintain merchandising excellence.
• Ensure company policies are followed by directly managed associates.
