Job summary

Archdiocese of Los Angeles invites applications for a Regional Coordinator in the Office of Religious Education. The role promotes catechetical ministry across a pastoral region through accompaniment, formation, and resource provision.

The candidate will plan diocesan/regional events, oversee a division budget, and collaborate with parish directors to strengthen catechetical formation and regional initiatives.

Qualifications

• Education and experience to support catechetical ministry in a regional setting.
• Master’s degree or higher in a related field is preferred.
• Catechist formation certificates or equivalent training are required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet monthly with the Director of Religious Education to review planning and priorities.
• Act as liaison between the Office of Religious Education and parishes in the region.
• Provide resources, in-services, and consultations on parish religious education activities.
