Thedrivingdesk is seeking Class A CDL Truck Drivers for a dedicated regional refrigerated driving opportunity based in McDonough, GA. The role offers home time weekly with weekends at home and no-touch freight, plus additional compensation for stops and backhauls.

Average weekly earnings range from $1,550 to $1,660 with mileage pay and various bonuses. This regional position requires overnight travel and the driver to sleep in the truck during the workweek.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months of verifiable solo Class A tractor-trailer experience.
• Must reside within approximately 40 miles of McDonough, GA 30252.
• Must meet applicable DOT and company safety qualifications.
• Comfortable operating refrigerated equipment.
• Able to work overnight delivery schedules.
• Available for Sunday evening departures and Friday morning returns.
• Willing to sleep in the truck during the workweek.
• Ability to complete multi-stop deliveries.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer on assigned regional routes.
• Transport refrigerated freight between distribution centers.
• Complete multi-stop deliveries.
• Maintain required refrigerated trailer temperatures.
• Pick up backhaul freight when assigned.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.
• Maintain accurate DOT logs and delivery paperwork.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding load status and delays.
• Follow assigned delivery schedules.
• Fuel at designated company-approved locations.
• Follow applicable DOT regulations and company safety procedures.
