Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Regional Quality Manager to lead QA across PET manufacturing sites in the United States. This onsite role emphasizes ensuring regulatory compliance, batch release, investigations and corrective actions while guiding QA staff and supporting process validation.

The role requires 8–12 years in related fields, 1–3 years in quality management, and strong knowledge of FDA requirements. Travel 50–75% is expected, with relocation possible to PET facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 8–12 years of experience in roles related to quality management or manufacturing.
• 2–5 years in the Pharmaceutical Industry preferred.
• 1–3 years in a quality management role preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of FDA regulatory requirements and quality systems.
• Knowledge of validation practices and principles.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to motivate others.
• Proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel; MS statistics/graphing skills helpful.
• Willingness to travel 50–75% and relocate near PET facility if required.

Responsibilities

• Manage QA function across assigned PET manufacturing sites in the United States.
• Oversee raw material storage, batch record review, product disposition and investigations.
• Provide guidance and training on validation protocols, investigations, procedures and change controls.
• Ensure product identity, strength, quality and purity across sites.
• Review production records and release finished products in compliance.
• Investigate and correct deviations to meet specifications.
• Monitor regional FDA commitments and quality performance metrics.
• Collaborate with Area Manager to align with PET network objectives.
• Lead cost-effective quality improvements and drive timely corrective actions.
