Job summary

Veritiv is seeking a Regional Quality Manager to lead the quality and continual improvement program across the assigned region, supporting ISO 9001:2015 and product safety compliance. You will perform internal audits, management reviews, and facilitate third-party audits to meet customer requirements and business objectives.

The role emphasizes investigation, corrective actions, audits, and collaboration with suppliers and customers to drive healthier, safer, and more sustainable operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years of related job experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for audit nonconformances and customer complaints.
• Support customer quality requirements, facilitate customer audits, and conduct supplier audits in collaboration with the Director of Supplier Quality.
• Manage process improvement projects aligned with business objectives.
• Create, facilitate, train, and lead teams to successful completion of projects.
• Use people skills to maximize team contributions and project outcomes.
• Select strategies, analysis, tools, and techniques to meet quality objectives.
• Present and communicate project status to management.

Job Purpose

Our Regional Quality Manager leads the overall quality and continual improvement program in the assigned region in support of customer requirements and business objectives. This role supports ISO 9001:2015 and product safety compliance in support of customer needs by performing internal audits, management reviews, and facilitating 3rd party audits.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the investigation, root cause analysis, and completion of corrective actions arising from audit nonconformances and customer complaints.
• Support customer quality requirements, facilitates customer audits, and conducts supplier audits in collaboration with the Director of Supplier Quality.
• Manage process improvement projects in support of business objectives.
• Create, facilitate, train, and lead teams to successful completion of projects.
• Utilizes people skills to maximize team members/coworkers project contributions.
• Select appropriate strategy, analysis, tools, and techniques to achieve customer and business-related quality objectives.
• Effectively present and communicate status of project activity to management.

Additional Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Successfully complete projects within financial and time deadlines.
• Maintains administrator records and prepares statistical performance reports related to business objectives.
• Performs other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned.
• Travel is required up to 25% of the time within the designated region

• 3-5 years of related job experience.
