Job summary

Monroe Group, Ltd is seeking a Regional Property Manager to oversee a portfolio across multiple states, including Texas and Oklahoma. You will coordinate on-site Community Managers, manage budgets, leasing, maintenance, and occupancy, and report to senior management.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of district/regional property management, a bachelor’s degree, and knowledge of affordable housing programs. Travel is 75% and the role requires strong leadership and communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• At least 5 years of Property Management experience in a district or regional role.
• Working knowledge of affordable housing programs.
• Willingness to travel 75% and manage multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of a portfolio of properties in a multi-state region.
• Provide weekly updates on vacancy, budget variances, staffing needs, and inspections.
• Ensure Community Managers are utilizing OneSite efficiently.
• Develop a calendar of inspections for each property (REAC, LIHTC, local inspections).
• Visit properties at least quarterly with Community Manager and maintenance staff.
• Develop training recommendations for on-site staff.
• Coordinate with National Compliance and Maintenance teams on preventive plans.
• Manage after-hours calls and tenant concerns, and report updates to owners.
• Collaborate with owners on capital needs plans for each property.
