Job summary

Oregon CF is looking for a Program Officer for its Community Engagement and Equity Department. This full-time role requires spending at least one day per week in the Portland office, with other days in the North Coast region. The successful candidate will manage community engagement strategies and grant programs to strengthen local partnerships.

The position requires significant experience in nonprofit work, excellent communication skills, and knowledge of the Oregon North Coast region. The salary range is $92,000 to $100,000, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Six or more years of experience with nonprofit organizations, grantmaking, or program planning and management.
• Ability to track details, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as a public representative for OCF’s programming related to the North Coast.
• Serve as part of the Community Grants team, including proposal review and site visits.
• Develop and execute community engagement strategies.

Skills

Knowledgeable about Oregon, especially the North Coast region

Excellent communication skills

Tech-savvy with proficiency in MS Office

Extremely organized

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
