Job summary

Special Olympics New York is seeking an Associate Director of Program for the Western Region in Williamsville, NY. The role oversees school and community clubs, focusing on program development, coach education, and athlete engagement.

You will lead training programs, manage budgets, track data, and build partnerships with schools and community organizations to grow inclusive programming.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in sports-related field.
• Experience with developmentally disabled populations preferred.
• Knowledge of budgeting, fundraising and public relations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate program activities for school and community clubs within the Western Region.
• Lead training programs for athletes, volunteers, coaches and schools.
• Engage schools, families and community stakeholders to grow programming.
• Oversee budgeting, data tracking and financial records.
• Recruit athletes and coaches and maintain relationships with partners.
• Promote inclusion and Unified Sports within programming.
