Job summary

Seattle Children\'s Hospital is seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist to join the Olympia Regional Team, functioning as a Seattle Children\'s staff member at a regional partner site to provide top-tier pediatric care to the South Sound community.

This role covers inpatient care from the delivery room to the inpatient ward, including Level II Nursery for newborns >32 weeks, and high-acuity management with HFNC, continuous albuterol, and insulin drips.

Qualifications

• MD degree required.
• Board eligibility or certification in Pediatrics.
• Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges at Seattle Children's.
• NRP Certification (Olympia, etc.)
• DEA Registration required.
• PALS certification within 3 months of hire if required.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient care using Seattle Children's clinical pathways.
• Level II Nursery care for newborns >32 weeks.
• Lead high-acuity management including HFNC, continuous albuterol, and insulin drips.
• Provide pediatric consultations in the ED and attend high-risk deliveries.
