Job summary

Office of U.S. Senator Angela D. Alsobrooks seeks a Regional Outreach Director to serve as a liaison with local governments, constituents, industry groups and leaders in Montgomery, Howard and Anne Arundel counties.

The role is based in Rockville, MD and involves attending local events, drafting briefings, and coordinating outreach efforts with the Senator and policy teams. The ideal candidate is a proactive team player with strong listening and communication skills, capable of planning

The Office of U.S. Senator Angela D. Alsobrooks seeks a Regional Outreach Director to serve as a liaison with local governments, constituents, industry groups and leaders in Montgomery, Howard and Anne Arundel counties. Responsibilities include attending local events; advising the Senator on key community developments and concerns; managing a regional coordinator and jointly overseeing local office operations.

Additional responsibilities include drafting briefings, regional reports, and correspondence; planning outreach activities; meeting with community leaders; coordinating with Senator Alsobrooks’ policy and communications teams; communicating on behalf of the Senator; and performing other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate has experience working in Montgomery, Howard and Anne Arundel counties; is a team player, proactive, an excellent listener, effective communicator; and demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment. This position is based in our Rockville office.
