Job summary

SRM Concrete is seeking a General Manager to oversee regional operations across multiple sites, driving performance, safety, service, and operational excellence.

You will lead plant managers, shape dispatch and maintenance programs, manage regional P&L, and build strong customer relationships using data-driven insights to improve KPIs and outcomes. Based in Greenville, NC, with occasional travel to nearby regions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in ready-mix, construction, or project management.
• Proven multi-site leadership and operations management experience.
• Strong knowledge of plant systems, dispatch, logistics, and maintenance.
• Customer-focused, data-driven, with tech-enabled problem solving.
• Excellent communication and team development skills.
• Committed to safety, quality, and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production, dispatch, maintenance, customer relationships, and regional P&L.
• Lead plant managers and operational teams, promoting safety and continuous improvement.
• Ensure on-time dispatch and delivery of ready-mix products.
• Develop maintenance strategies to maximize asset reliability.
• Build strong customer relationships and resolve complex issues.
• Use data and KPIs to drive operational improvements.
• Enforce safety, quality, and compliance across sites.
• Identify growth opportunities and contribute to SRM's success.
