Job Description/Summary
The Regional Office Manager is a non-licensed worker who has completed an on-the-job training program. The primary function is to facilitate efficient operations of the front offices in a designated region, ensuring compliance with Encore’s policies and procedures. The manager assists the Regional Vice President and Clinical Directors in supervising general office operations and personnel across facilities within their region.
Identifying and addressing problems in each facility to ensure accurate and efficient operations. Periodically reviewing clerical staff performance, assisting in opening and setting up new facilities, facilitating training and coverage for clerical staff, performing facility audits, overseeing accounts receivable and co-pay sheets, and assisting with EOM report generation.
Accept responsibility and respect authority, demonstrate good judgment, work under pressure, accept constructive criticism, maintain confidentiality of employee files and medical records, communicate effectively with individuals of all ages and backgrounds.
Education: Must have completed twelfth grade; a business degree is preferred.
Experience: Previous experience in Medical Office Management, with adequate knowledge of computer operations and software applications.
Works under the direct supervision of the Director of Reimbursement.
Management: Review front office operations, assist Clinical Directors with staff supervision, evaluations, interviews, and dismissals. Conduct regional training meetings and coordinate with Clinical Directors on audits and accounts receivable. Report findings and issues to supervisors.
Policies and Procedures: Monitor compliance with Business Office Policies, perform audits, and suggest improvements. Ensure forms and manuals are current.
Computer: Troubleshoot and maintain computer systems, ensure virus protection and compliance with policies.
Personnel: Assist clinic staff as needed, participate in hiring and disciplinary processes.
Daily Tasks: Ensure facilities adhere to policies, assist in troubleshooting, support opening of new facilities, supervise daily operations, and monitor progress towards goals, providing reports to leadership.
Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Director of Reimbursement.
