Job summary

Core-Mark International in Louisiana and Mississippi territory is seeking a Merchandiser to drive to customer locations using your personal vehicle, place merchandise according to plan-o-grams, and ensure each store area is set to standard. You will identify slow-moving items and suggest replacements to boost sales.

You must have a reliable vehicle, a valid driver's license, 6+ months merchandising experience, and be able to travel 80-90% with per diem hotels when traveling.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ months merchandising experience.
• Customer facing experience.
• Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance and ability to travel to customer locations.
• Driver’s license with clear driving record.
• Frequent lifting up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Service assigned stores as scheduled daily.
• Provide merchandising, stocking, pricing, shelf facing, stock rotating, and product/shelf cleaning.
• Arrange store shelves or display areas as required by each store.
• Monitor potential account problems and report to Sales/Manager when required.
• Maintain safe store aisles and ensure equipment is maintained.
• Report hours to division on time sheets.
