Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a Regional Medical Scientific Director (PhD, MD, DO, or DNP) to act as a therapeutic and disease expert for the US Midwest and South regions. The role involves scientific exchange with Scientific Leaders, providing factual information on company products and non‑product research, and supporting research initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant therapeutic experience, strong stakeholder management, and knowledge of FDA/HIPAA/OIG

Qualifications

• Doctorate or medical degree with relevant therapeutic experience and regulatory knowledge.
• Experience collaborating with scientific leaders and investigators.

Responsabilités

• Develop professional relationships with Scientific Leaders (SLs) in the US Midwest and South.
• Answer scientific questions with balanced information about company products and non-product research.
• Promote investigator-initiated research and support investigator‑sponsored trials.
• Assist in clinical trial site selection and provide medical input for study protocols.
• Gather insights on medical needs to inform Medical Affairs strategy.
• Serve as a role model for field medical teams and foster an inclusive environment.
• Travel up to 50% and reside in IL, MO, AR, TN, KY.
