Job summary

Paragon Management SNF, LLC in New York is seeking a Regional Medicaid Supervisor to oversee Medicaid applications, renewals, and redeterminations for a portfolio of SNFs. The role requires strong knowledge of state Medicaid guidelines and effective staff leadership.

You will monitor Medicaid pending balances, ensure payer timelines, and train facility-level Medicaid Coordinators. Travel between facilities is expected to support regulatory compliance and revenue integrity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years handling Medicaid eligibility, applications, renewals, redeterminations, and pending accounts in skilled nursing.
• Experience reducing Medicaid pending balances and monitoring aging.
• Strong knowledge of state/federal Medicaid rules and LTC requirements.
• Ability to oversee Medicaid Coordinators across multiple SNFs.
• Experience with residents, families, Medicaid caseworkers, counties/agencies, and internal billing/finance teams.
• Ability to educate staff on policy changes and EHR/billing processes.
• Willingness to travel regularly between facilities.

The Regional Medicaid Supervisor manages and optimizesMedicaid application processes, Medicaid pending financial accounts,reimbursement workflows, and manages staff across a portfolio of SkilledNursing Facilities (SNFs). This role acts as the primary regional expert onstate Medicaid guidelines, ensuring timely approvals, minimizing financialrisk, and training facility-level Medicaid Financial Coordinators.

JOB DUTIES:

• Regulatoryknowledge: Strong understanding of state/federal Medicaid rules, LTCrequirements, payer timelines, and MLTC programs.
• Multi-siteleadership: Ability to oversee and support Medicaid Coordinatorsacross multiple SNFs rather than managing only one facility.
• Caseresolution: Experience working directly with residents/families,Medicaid caseworkers, counties/agencies, and internal billing/financeteams.
• Training:Ability to educate facility staff on Medicaid policy changes, eligibilityrequirements, and EHR/billing processes.
• Regionalmobility: Willingness to travel regularly between assigned facilities.
