Regional Manager Retail Execution The Regional Manager Retail Execution leads a regional retail organization, overseeing multiple territories or districts to deliver consistent execution, strong performance outcomes, and operational efficiency. This role is responsible for managing managers and/or large teams, optimizing retail coverage models, and ensuring client KPIs are met across a broader geography. In addition to execution oversight, this role owns talent development, financial performance (budget/P&L), and client relationship management, while driving implementation of company strategy and identifying growth opportunities within assigned accounts. The Company is one of North America’s leading sales and marketing agencies specializing in outsourced sales, merchandising, category management, and marketing services to manufacturers, suppliers, and producers of food products and consumer packaged goods.   • Operational leadership:Oversees retail execution across a region, ensuring consistent delivery of client KPIsOptimizes routing, coverage models, and execution efficiency
  • People and organizational development:Leads multi-layered teams; drives performance management, individual development plans, and succession planning
  • Builds talent pipelines and integrates external hires into the organization
  • Business and financial management:Manages budgets, operating income, and expense controls for assigned region
  • Identifies and drives opportunities for organic growth and new business
  • Client partnership management:Serves as primary contact for retail clients within region and ensures alignment to goals and expectations
  • Strategic execution and change leadership:Implements national programs and strategic initiatives within region

Qualifications
  • Education Requirements: Bachelors preferred
  • Experience Requirements: 6-8 years experience in relevant field
  • Travel requirement: 60%-75% travel expected
  • Supervisor Responsibility Direct Reports: Hires, retains, trains, coaches, guides, directs, and develops direct reports using company-wide processes, tools and resources
  • Indirect Reports: May delegate work of others and provide guidance, direction and mentoring to indirect reports
Required Knowledge and Skills
  • Deep expertise in retail execution across multiple territories — coverage models, routing efficiency, labor allocation, and how to scale consistent standards region-wide while flexing for local conditions
  • Proven ability to lead through others: coaching frontline leaders, building high-performing multi-layered teams, and driving performance management, development planning, and succession
  • Strong financial acumen — budgeting, forecasting, expense control, and a clear line of sight from operational decisions to P&L outcomes
  • Skilled at managing client relationships end-to-end: setting expectations, reporting on KPIs, and spotting opportunities to grow existing accounts
  • Fluent in retail data and dashboards, with the ability to turn insights into regional action plans and use data to coach teams in real time
  • A strategic mindset that translates company direction into regional execution plans aligned to both business and client goals
  • Comfortable identifying systemic gaps, leading change initiatives, and driving adoption of new programs or tools across regions
  • Strong systems thinking and root-cause analysis, with sound judgment for making trade‑off calls even with incomplete information
  • Excellent communicator who can influence and align field teams, senior leaders, and clients alike
  • A genuine sense of ownership for regional results, team performance, and developing the next generation of leaders
Field Requirements

Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed in a retail in-store environment, which may include working in variable temperatures such as refrigerated areas, freezer sections and deli/bakery areas. The position typically requires the ability to spend 66%+ hours each workday performing the following activities: Engage in considerable physical activity, ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds, stand on feet for long periods of time, use consumer goods products, prepare, and serve food and beverages safely as appropriate for the product demonstration.
