Job summary

Dungarvin is seeking an Area Manager to oversee multiple residential homes and staff teams within an assigned region, providing leadership, operational oversight, and program support to ensure high-quality, person-centered services and Medicaid compliance.

You will lead staff development, manage program operations, and address concerns, partnering with individuals served, families, and community stakeholders to maintain smooth operations and accountable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field.
• Experience: 2–3+ years supporting individuals with disabilities or similar settings, including supervisory or management experience.
• Program knowledge: understanding of person-centered supports, compliance standards, and Medicaid/CIH Waivers or HCBS services preferred.
• Technical skills: proficiency with Microsoft Office programs and ability to adapt to new technology platforms.
• Licensure & transportation: valid driver’s license with driving record meeting agency requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and support employees across residential programs; promote accountability and professional development.
• Oversee daily operations of multiple homes and programs; ensure services remain person-centered and compliant with standards.
• Promote independent living and respect for individual choices in planning and service delivery.
• Monitor staffing, program performance, and on-call coverage in partnership with leadership.
