Responsabilités

• Diagnose, problem solve, and make repairs in appliances, carpentry, hardware, masonry, painting, basic electrical, basic plumbing, and basic HVAC.
• Lead and train other maintenance technicians.
• Complete assigned service requests and repairs per operating procedures.
• Ensure vacant apartments are prepared for occupancy and market ready.
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor in preventive maintenance, inspections, and unit inspections.
• Maintain grounds and curb appeal through snow removal, landscaping, and trash management.
• Be available for on-call activity during off-hours and emergencies as required.

WinnCompanies is looking for aRegional Maintenance Technician to join ourNew York Regional Operations team in theUpstate New York area.

Please note that this regional position may be assigned to any property in the portfolio and is expected to work at multiple sites in Buffalo, NY & Malone, NY based on the need. In this role, you will perform maintenance functions in your assigned communities, including rental units, residential common areas, office, grounds and parking lots. You will also lead and train other maintenance technicians on the team.

The pay range for this role is $24.00-$28.00 per hour. The selected candidate will adhere to the following schedule: Monday through Friday from 9:00AM to 5:00PM with the ability overtime for any emergencies as required.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, problem solve, and make repairs in such areas as, but not limited to: appliances, carpentry, hardware accessories, masonry, painting, basic electrical, basic plumbing, and basic and HVAC.
• Lead and train other maintenance technicians.
• Complete assigned service requests and repairs consistent with company operating procedures.
• Ensure vacant apartments are prepared for occupancy and market ready in accordance with company standards.
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor in leading and assisting the completion of the preventive maintenance program, building and safety inspections and annual unit inspections.
• Maintain grounds and curb appeal through snow removal, landscaping and trash management activities.
• Be available for on-call activity during off-hours and emergencies based on a pre-determined schedule and need.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
• A current driver's license in good standing and ability to meet the driving records standards outlined in the Company Safe Vehicular Operations Policy.
• General knowledge of electrical, plumbing, appliances, and HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning).
• Ability to travel within assigned territory with occasional overnight stay.
• Excellent customer service skills.
