Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is seeking a Regional Maintenance Specialist to support senior living communities across Southern California. The role requires up to 95% travel and travel to assigned communities based on need and priority.

The position oversees maintenance and housekeeping, with duties including staff supervision and operational planning. The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and experience in residential maintenance, budgeting, and preventive

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer minimum two (2) years’ experience in residential maintenance and/or housekeeping handling the upkeep, repair, and maintenance of electrical, plumbing and structural matters.
• Knowledge of building construction, budgeting, expense management preventative maintenance software, and basic computer skills.
• Prefer at least one (1) year experience supervising and managing employees.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop, perform, and direct general operating maintenance, repair, and housekeeping of the physical plant.
• Oversee maintenance and housekeeping departments to ensure safe, clean, and comfortable property operations.
• Hire, evaluate, coordinate, motivate, monitor performance, schedule, and supervise staff; advise Executive Director on staffing decisions.
