Job summary

Valor is seeking CDL A truck drivers for a regional intermodal role, home daily, five days on and two off with Tue-Sat schedule options. This is no-touch freight with annual pay range of $77K to $83K plus a $10K sign-on bonus.

Drivers will pick up freight from St. Louis and Kansas City rail yards and deliver to multiple Midwest states. Trucks are automatic; home time when off duty; comprehensive benefits start after 30 days, plus PTO and 401K matching.

Qualifications

• 3 months verifiable Class A experience in the last 6 months OR
• 6 months verifiable Class A Experience in the last 12 months OR
• 12 months verifiable in the last 5 years
• Time with trainer counts if running as a team with trainer
• No more than 2 moving violations or incidents in the last 3 years and PSP warnings count towards a violation
• No more than 3 at fault minor incidents or accidents in the last 3 years
• No more than one highway accident in the last 12 months
• No major preventable accidents in the last 3 years with cost > $25,000
• No DOT Drug test failures in last 5 years; 1 year safe driving under SAP program
• If terminated for accidents, 12 months safe driving; if for safety not an accident, 6 months safe driving
• No felonies or misdemeanors with felonious drug charges in last 7 years
• No more than two DUIs in a lifetime and none in last five years
• No more than 5 jobs in last 3 years

Responsibilities

• Load and unload pickups? No touch freight (drivers do not handle freight)
• Pick up freight from railyards in St Louis and Kansas City; deliver to OK, AR, MO, KS, IL, IA, NE
• Operate automatic Freightliners; home time during off days; trucks assigned to drivers
