Job summary

Home Genius Exteriors is seeking an Install Manager to oversee post-sale to final installation, ensuring top-tier customer experience and vendor relations across Midwest markets. The role involves frequent travel among PA, OH, MI, and IL, leading project managers, and maintaining high standards of professionalism.

You will oversee multiple crews and projects, communicate with customers to adapt plans, and ensure licensing and permits are in place while driving team culture and performance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of high level construction management overseeing over $100M in installed revenue.
• Extensive roofing and siding knowledge.
• Experience leading teams of project managers and building team culture.
• Professionalism and strong leadership are essential.
• Self-accountability and ownership are required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect all aspects of the project to determine the scope of work.
• Manage multiple crews and projects concurrently.
• Communicate the agreement with customers and negotiate changes as needed.
• Analyze licensing and permitting to obtain required permits.
• Assist warehouse operations and staging of products for delivery.
• Hold a valid driver’s license and travel between states as needed.

As Home Genius Exteriors continues to multiply our Midwest Markets, we're on track to install over $200M in Year 6 & in need of a highly skilled Install Manager to ensure our post-sale to final installation process remains top-tier while handling aspects of the customer experience and vendor relationship.

This position requires frequent travel between the following locations:

• Altoona, PA
• Pittsburgh, PA
• Erie, PA
• Cleveland, OH
• Columbus, OH
• Cincinnati, OH
• Chicago, IL
• Detroit, Michigan

Requirements:

• Frequent travel between our Midwest Markets (PA, OH, MI & IL)
• 2+ years of high level Construction Management experience overseeing over $100M in installed revenue (exterior home remodeling experience is preferred)
• Extensive Roofing / Siding Knowledge Experience
• Experience with overseeing teams of Project Managers & building team culture
• Professionalism is VERY important.
• Strong Leadership Skills
• Self-accountability & Extreme Ownership
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
• HIGHLY evolved customer service skills

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for inspecting all aspects of the project to make determination of the scope of work.
• Responsible for managing multiple crews, multiple people & multiple projects at once
• Responsible for communicating the agreement between company and customer Identifies alternative courses of action needed, and negotiates directly with the customer to alter the specific terms of the plan as appropriate.
• Analyzes all legal requirements related to licensing and permitting to obtain permits.
• Completes various administrative tasks as needed and assists in the warehouse to stage products for delivery.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be capable of driving to, from, and in between states as needed.
