Job summary

You will participate in developing global sourcing strategies and support supplier negotiations within cross-functional teams. The role requires a bachelor’s in supply chain management or related field, plus 4+ years of experience and 2+ years with SAP or an ERP/MRP system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or a related field is required.
• At least 4 years of professional experience in a similar role or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 2 years of experience with SAP (preferred) or a similar ERP/MRP platform.

Responsibilities

• Procuring the plant's requirements for direct and indirect materials of the defined commodities.
• Developing and implementing global sourcing strategies.
• Analyzing the local sourcing market for the relevant functional area.
• Carrying out the purchasing process for local sourcing projects from requirements to RFQs and supplier nominations.
• Maintaining and developing supplier relationships and clarifying technical questions with relevant departments.
• Leading supplier negotiations and managing contracts for local projects.
