Job Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and improve safety programs to enhance HSE performance and compliance
- Oversee incident claims from inception to closure, ensuring timely resolution and preventive actions
- Track and report monthly HSE performance metrics in collaboration with service center managers
- Conduct workstation risk assessments and facilitate the identification, prioritization, and mitigation of risks
- Serve as the primary HSE expert for the assigned region, providing strategic guidance to site leadership teams
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a safety role as an individual contributor or manager
- In-depth knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations in North America
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to present effectively at all levels
- Familiarity with the iCare EHS system (preferred)
- Willingness to travel 25-35% across the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in managing safety initiatives and driving measurable improvements in safety performance
- Knowledge of Safety Management Systems and experience with audits
- Ability to promote a culture of safety ownership among frontline employees
- Skills in data analysis for identifying trends and driving targeted safety improvements
- Familiarity with Human & Organizational Performance (HOP) principles
