Job summary

Matrix Adhesives Group is seeking a Regional HSE Manager to oversee Health, Safety, and Environmental programs across North American sites, including North Carolina, Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while leading safety initiatives and training.

You will mentor site HSE coordinators, coordinate audits, incidents, and waste management, and travel up to 30% to support operations and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of HSE experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Chemistry, Environmental, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• PSM/RMP experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of environmental, health and safety policies and procedures as well as federal, state and local regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; comfortable speaking in front of groups.

Responsibilities

• Support achievement and implementation of OSHA and other regulatory agency requirements.
• Direct/Lead incident/injury investigations and implementation of corrective actions.
• Educate and train site HSE coordinators and project team members in safety requirements and best practices.
• Perform health, safety and environmental inspections, assessments, and audits.
• Coordinate, review, and monitor non-routine work activities with potential impact on operations, environment, or health & safety.
• Develops project plans and timelines based on strategic HSE goals and objectives.
• Partner with site HSE coordinators and departments to recognize hazards and prevent injuries.
• Develop and conduct training including new hire orientation, compliance, forklift, scissor lift, LOTO, Machine guarding, chemical hygiene, etc.
• Administer HSE programs driving participation, data entry, evaluation, and reporting.
• Maintain required records for safety training, safety inspections, and other HSE tasks.
• Answer questions and assist associates, supervisors, and contractors on HSE related matters.
• Manage safety shoe and prescriptive eyewear programs.
• Coordinate hazardous waste shipments and ensure disposal of hazardous waste in appropriate containers and transport to central accumulation areas.
• Travel up to 30%.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Regional HSE Manager will develop and implement Health, Safety and Environmental programs, procedures, associated training, and guidance documents for multiple sites within our North American footprint. Primary responsibility includes sites in North Carolina, Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
