Job summary

JBS USA is seeking a Human Resources Director II for the Prepared Foods segment in Missouri. The leader will guide HR strategy, oversee employee and labor relations, and drive talent development across multiple sites, partnering with Operations to optimize staffing and performance.

The role requires senior HR leadership experience, strong legal and compliance knowledge, and a track record of building capability within HR teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive HR leadership experience in manufacturing or related environment.
• Strong knowledge of employee and labor relations, compliance, and employment law.
• Excellent leadership, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR strategies across multiple Prepared Foods facilities.
• Partner with Operations to improve staffing, retention, and productivity.
• Advise on employee and labor relations, investigations, and policy interpretation.
• Drive succession planning, leadership development, and workforce planning.
• Monitor turnover, absenteeism, crewing, labor costs, and engagement.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
