Job summary

Merck is seeking a Virology (HIV) Regional Medical Scientific Director (MSL) to lead scientific engagement across the New York Boroughs and Upstate New York. The role requires building relationships with SLs and investigators while delivering medical information and scientific insights to support our HIV portfolio.

The candidate will travel up to 50% and reside within or near the New York region to ensure timely scientific exchange with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage relationships with national/regional SLs and investigators to address scientific needs and provide data access.
• Conduct peer-level scientific discussions and maintain a consistent R&D/Medical Affairs contact for SLs.
• Engage in non-product discussions on disease states, diagnosis, epidemiology, and unmet needs to guide R&D and Human Health strategy.
