Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is seeking a Regional Health Services Specialist in California to manage day-to-day healthcare operations across communities. The role requires an active CA LVN license and RCFE experience, with supervision of licensed nurses and direct care staff.

The position involves travel within the organization to support staffing, startup communities, and coverage during leaves. A strong focus on resident care, dignity, and quality remains essential.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Vocational Nurse holding a valid California nursing license in good standing.
• Prefer four (4) years’ experience in Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE).
• Prefer three (3) year experience supervising and managing employees.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including COVID-19 PCR test within 72 hours of start date.
• Oakmont requires vaccination or valid exemption due to medical/religious reasons per legal requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manages day-to-day healthcare operations for assigned communities to meet residents' healthcare needs.
• Supervises licensed nurses and other direct care team members within the community.
• Supports healthcare leadership during transitions, until a replacement is identified, and travels to support staffing across communities.
• Supports startup communities, vacations/leave of absence coverage, and other organizational staffing needs.

The ideal candidate will reside in Los Angeles County or North Orange County.

Assisted living clinical experience is preferred. Must have a valid CA LVN license in good standing.

Salary range: $105,000 - $115,000

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Regional Health Services Specialist, who is comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

The Regional Health Services Specialist is a licensed nurse responsible for managing the day-to-day healthcare operations of the assigned communities to ensure resident’s healthcare needs are met. Ensures residents are treated with respect and dignity and ensure quality care as resident’s healthcare needs change. Supervises licensed nurses and other direct care team members within the community. Strengthens clinical processes within the community until a replacement is identified, then supports newly assigned Health Services Director. Travels within the organization to support the management of vacant positions, startup communities, vacations/leave of absences, etc.

Qualifications:
