Qualifications

  • 1 year of experience in a medical program involving radioactive materials.
  • Certification in Health Physics or Medical Physics preferred.
  • Valid driver's license for travel among regional Ministries.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Regional Radiation Safety Program.
  • Manage occupational radiation monitoring for personnel.
  • Oversee compliance testing of radiation producing equipment.
  • Liaise with departments on the safe use of ionizing radiation.
  • Investigate radiological hazards and ensure corrective actions.
