Job summary

Soho House is seeking a Head of Member Events to lead a regional team of Event Managers, building a vibrant calendar that aligns with global themes and brand standards. You will recruit and develop staff, plan innovative member moments, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact experiences that connect the creative community.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7+ years’ experience curating and executing large and small bespoke events.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a high-volume and demanding fast-paced environment.
• Proven track record of identifying and acquiring top-tier talent for curated events.
• Leader, innovator and relationship builder.
• Hospitality experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly ideation, development, programming, and execution of events for the region.
• Lead team management including recruitment, onboarding, training, scheduling, payroll, and disciplinary procedures.
• Direct member and House programming to connect the creative community through storytelling.
• Conceive unconventional and memorable member events, including talent bookings or artist residencies.
• Collaborate with Operations, design, content, digital, events, partnerships to meet objectives.
• Build a robust database of creative community contacts to capture the current zeitgeist.
• Track event bookings and forward planning to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Monitor staff performance and develop leadership collaboration.
• Curate content that tells a story and connects members digitally or in-person.
• Support late-night attendance and presence on the floor to assist members.
