Position Summary

Effectively manages all aspects of the Graphic Technical Operations and personnel within the assigned region. Establishes strong relationships with the Commercial Management Team to ensure the objectives of each Graphic Technical Center location align and support the contractual obligations. Contributes to the financial success of the Customer and the North America Commercial Division. Maintains open communication with Customer contacts within their region to ensure the Graphic Technical Teams achieve overall Customer satisfaction related to service and supply. Promotes a strong Safety culture within the Region through employee engagement and support in the Field HSE program. Travel as needed to Graphic Technical Centers in the Region is expected.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide job descriptions specific to GTC position/location, clearly defining responsibilities and performance expectations.
  • Train and implement P Log program for GTC Managers, conduct annual performance evaluations for all Graphic Tech personnel, and manage performance in the region.
  • Maintain staff levels per contractual obligations. Collaborate with Human Resources and the Director of GTCs on coaching, performance improvement, and disciplinary actions as appropriate.
  • Assist in developing and implementing Standard Operating Procedures to meet Customer Quality standards, including xRite training, equipment calibrations, troubleshooting, and downtime logs with improvement actions.
  • Document Regional Customer KPIs by GTC location, review monthly with the Director of GTCs to identify improvement opportunities, and implement actions to meet targets.
  • Create a strong Safety/HSE culture in your region by leading example, setting expectations in training, scorecards, near miss and hazard identification through staff engagement.
  • Coordinate urgent, unforeseen GTC coverage as needed.
  • Align with the Commercial team to lead GTC staff in supporting contractual obligations at Customer locations.
  • Support the Technical Service Team in coordinating new customer trials and addressing Customer complaints and downtime.
  • Support divisional initiatives related to SAP and supply chain to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Train staff in processes, SAP, Web shop, and non-inventory purchasing.
  • Guide GTC teams in implementing effective return/obsolete ink inventory work-off programs.
  • Meet with Customers to address complaints related to GT Staff or products.
  • Implement overtime approval processes and reduction initiatives, ensuring Customer demand is met.
  • Manage equipment asset inventories and transfer at all Customer locations.
  • Create requisition requests for new equipment proposals requiring Capital Expense, e.g., dispensers and equipment over $1,500 USD.
