Job summary

Thrive is seeking a Regional GP Veterinarian in the Austin area to provide full-time or part-time veterinary services across the region. The role includes travel within a designated region, flexible scheduling, and the stability of Thrive's resources.

Qualified candidates hold a DVM/VMD, a State license in good standing, and an active DEA license or eligibility, with surgical and dental experience essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent required.
• Active State Veterinary Board license in good standing.
• Active DEA license or eligibility.
• Minimum 3 years GP experience or internship plus 1 year GP.
• Surgical and dental experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care including wellness, emergency, and surgery.
• Build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and staff.
• Maintain accurate medical records and clear communication.
• Mentor newer veterinarians as needed.
