Job summary

NFP, an Aon company, is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to provide regional financial leadership for the Central and West offices, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and performance management in line with standards and regulatory requirements.

The role partners with regional and corporate leaders to support profitability, growth, and operational improvements; leads finance talent development and supports M&A activities across the Eastern U.S., with travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA and/or MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of finance or accounting experience, preferably within insurance brokerage, financial services, or public accounting.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing finance or accounting professionals.
• Proficiency with Excel, financial reporting tools, and business systems; experience with Lawson, Cognos, or agency management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and performance management for assigned offices.
• Analyze business results, key financial metrics, and variances to identify risks, opportunities, and recommendations.
• Partner with regional and corporate leaders to support decision-making, profitability, growth initiatives, and operational improvements.
• Provide financial guidance on headcount planning, compensation decisions, and other business investments.
• Support acquisition activities, including due diligence, earn-out analysis, system conversions, accounting changes, and integration efforts.
• Lead finance initiatives that improve reporting, controls, processes, and operational effectiveness.
• Manage and develop financial analysts through mentoring, performance management, workload prioritization, and quality review.
