Job summary

FreshPoint, a Sysco company, seeks an experienced New Business Developer to expand our local street, contract, and retail footprint. The role reports to the Director of New Business Development and focuses on identifying opportunities, negotiating contracts, and transitioning accounts to the sales force.

You will work with executives and marketing to build plans, leverage data, and manage a CRM-driven sales process while traveling up to 50% to pursue new customers and growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School education required; Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
• 5+ years opening new business in the food service industry.
• 5+ years foodservice sales experience; 3+ years restaurant management/chef experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive business development strategy across local street, local contract, and retail segments.
• Leverage data to identify opportunities and craft sales plans.
• Identify opportunities, coordinate sales teams to propose new business and drive to execution.
• Collaborate with sales team to expand business development efforts and track results.
• Maintain CRM records and daily activity logs.
