Guardian Flight in Alaska is seeking a Regional Floating Flight Nurse to join our air-medical team delivering safe patient transport to and from facilities and scene responses.

We offer a 10 days on / 20 days off schedule, company-paid crew housing while on shift, and a starting salary in the $90k–$93k range annually. You will work with a professional team committed to high safety standards and excellent patient care.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum three years of Emergency or Adult Critical Care experience as an RN.
• Current RN license in the states served by the assigned area.
• EMT and Trauma certifications as required by state regulations.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required prior to flight status (NRP training provided).
• CFRN required within 24 months from date of hire.

• Share shift change information with transitioning team and keep regulatory documentation up to date.
• Maintain required certifications and ongoing training for the position.

REGIONAL FLOATING FLIGHT NURSE INCENTIVES

• Starting Range $90,000-$93,000 annually
• Schedule is a 10 days on/20 days off rotation

We’re hiring a Regional Floating Flight Nurseto work with our team of air transportation experts to safely transport patients to and from medical facilities as well as scene call work. Safety, effective and efficient patient care is a key pillar of our services, therefore you’ll work on a quality, professional team that is committed to high safety standards for the crew and our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Flight Nurses will assess each situation to determine the best course of action to support, monitor and treat patients in critical care situations.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to manage the critically ill or injured adult or pediatric patient and support physicians’ orders.
• Take pride in providing a safe, clean, and well-stocked aircraft environment, maintains regular equipment and base checks, and complies with safety standards and briefings.
• Work collaboratively and effectively communicate in a professional manner with air and ground teams, dispatch, flight crews, facilities and partners.
• Share shift change info to transitioning team and follow protocols to maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation and records.
• Nurses are accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing training required for the position.

MinimumQualifications:

• Three years of experience in an Emergency or Adult Critical Care settingas a licensed RN.
• Current RN license in the states served by the assigned area.
• EMT Certification & Trauma Certification in state(s)where required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required prior to flight status (NRP certification is provided during New Hire Training).
• Certified Registered Flight Nurse (CFRN) required within 24 months from date of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior flight experience
• Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, ITLS/PHTLS.
