Job summary

Ascension in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a dedicated nursing support professional for an Evening PRN role in our Float Staffing department. You will assist patients with daily living activities, support safe entry/exit, and report any changes to the nursing team, while helping maintain clean rooms and medical equipment.

Qualifications include a Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry credential and BLS within 30 days of hire; certifications may vary by location.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Nurse Aide credentialed from the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Certified Nursing Assistant credentialed from the state of Wisconsin, and in Nurse Aide Registry with eligibility to work in a hospital setting obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Additional certs may be required by specific job locations.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
