Job summary

Dollar General Corporation seeks a Fleet Safety Manager to lead safety training, audits, analysis and recognition for the company fleet. You will ensure DOT, FMCSA and CSA compliance and coordinate with Operations, Compliance and HR.

This role guides safety technology programs, mentors Safety Supervisors and drives continuous improvement across the fleet network, with 25–50% travel to worksites.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, DOT and CSA programs.
• Understanding of paper and electronic logs, Hours of Service.
• Experience with dash-cam systems and program management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to work independently.
• Strong customer service and teamwork.
• Proficient with computers for tracking safety/training programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day administration of fleet safety technology programs and rollout activities.
• Develops safety reporting on events, coaching and driver behavior.
• Create training materials and ensure consistent system use by Safety Supervisors and Operations.
• Coordinate cross-functional safety coverage and regulatory compliance across Fleet.
