Job summary

System Transport is seeking CDL-A flatbed drivers for regional routes in the Midwest. Recent CDL-A grads may apply and will receive training. Pay ranges from weekly $1,021 to $2,280 with annual projections from $53,092 to $118,560, plus tolls, detentions, and other accessorial pays.

Home time includes weekends off for most drivers; Division 290 Kansas City, MO terminal; comprehensive benefits and transition pay are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Class A CDL (CDL-A).
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• 6+ months driving experience required (for Recent CDL-A Grads, no experience required).
• A safe driving record on the road is required.
• Background Check required.
• Clean Drug Test required.
• Clean Clearinghouse result required.
• For all flatbed driver opportunities, the driver must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (will be tested during orientation).

Responsibilities

• Operate as a Regional or OTR flatbed truck driver.
• Transport goods such as glass, steel, aluminum, and other materials.
• Maintain safety and compliance with company policies.
• Receive orientation and training if new to CDL-A.
• Adhere to home-time and route schedules as provided by System Transport.
