Job summary

System Transport is hiring Recent CDL-A flatbed truck drivers for regional and OTR routes in the western region. You will transport glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals.

Full-time drivers can earn $1,021.00–$2,280.00 per week ($53,092–$118,560 per year), plus tarp, stop, detention, and other accessorial pay. Home time is off most weekends with a 34-hour reset; orientation pay and transition pay are also offered.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A CDL
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• 6+ months of driving experience required (for Recent CDL-A Grads, no experience required - we will train you!)
• A safe driving record on the road is required.
• No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
• Background Check required
• Clean Drug Test required
• Clean Clearinghouse result required
• For all flatbed driver opportunities, the driver must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice. System Transport will test this during orientation, and flatbed drivers tarp about 70% of our loads. (this is required)

Responsibilities

• Transport goods and materials as listed (glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals).
• Operate flatbed equipment on regional routes.
• Maintain safety and compliance during every trip.
• Achieve on-time delivery with accurate paperwork.
