Job summary

System Transport is seeking experienced CDL-A flatbed drivers for regional routes. You will haul materials such as glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery and coils, with home time weekly and pay tied to experience and route.

The role includes a robust benefits package with health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) and matching, paid time off, and transition/orientation pay. A tarp handling requirement (90 lbs) is part of the job and safety checks are conducted during orientation.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A CDL
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• A safe driving record on the road is required.
• No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years
• 4+ months of driving experience required
• Preferred: 1 year truck driving experience
• Background Check required
• Clean Drug Test required
• Clean Clearinghouse result required
• Driver must be physically able to lift a 90-pound tarp onto a 5-foot high platform twice (tested during orientation)

Responsibilities

• Transport goods with flatbed equipment including glass, steel, aluminum, building materials, machinery, coils, and specialty metals
• Operate on regional routes with home weekly schedule
• Utilize mileage pay plus accessorial pay such as tarp, stop, detention, border crossing, safety bonuses, and over-dimensional pay
